★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing location, incredible food, great staff, legendary place. Get a reservation, or come for lunch if you can’t, because you’re very unlikely to get in otherwise. All of the food was delicious and the wine as well. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Place in the one to go when near the pantheon!! Never seen such a good restaurant in such a touristic place. Super super recommend!! The service is just on top, very very cosy and friendly!!! The cacio & Pepe is amaaaazing! And the WINE is absolutely amazing !!! They help you choosing the wine after you choose the menu. Great ?
The server (forgot his name, sorry, but he is Spanish) was the loveliest ??? thank youuuuuuu

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We heard so many good things about this place and was excited to try it. We made reservations on our first day in Rome (12/1/2021). We ordered the carbonara, cacio e pepe, roman-artichoke and fresh mozzarella. Both pasta dishes were EXTREMELY salty. I love salt just as much as the next guy, but these were next level salty!! ?Needless to say I wouldn't recommend this place, so many other good place to eat and you don't need to make reservations!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a tourist trap. Having been to Roma many times, we broke the golden rule: NEVER EAT INSIGHT OF A MONUMENT. No exceptions. The artichoke and mozzarella appetizer was as expected. We order the steak and lamb. The steak was basically boiled beef with arugula, that simple, I ate very little. The lamb was okay but would never order it again. The wait staff was reminiscent of traditional Parisian restaurants. They seemed arrogant and not happy to be there. We would never recommend this restaurant. There are too many wonderful restaurants that are of excellent quality with very helpful accommodating staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid this tourist trap. The food looks good but the taste isn't There. It was my worst experience so far in Rome. The dishes were bland and poor. I have much better references of what a real carbonara or amatriciana should taste. If you are new to the food, you Will think that it is not as great as people tell. If you already tried a real carbonara, you Will be disapointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cacio e Pepe and Rigatoni all’Amatriciana were amazing. So much flavor and the sauce/consistency was perfect. Buffalo mozzarella and artichokes were a great appetizer although the artichokes were steamed and the flavor left a little to be desired on those. I had the Stracciatella romana (soup) as an appetizer as well and I thought that was great, unlike anything I’d had before with a ton of great flavor in the broth. I would absolutely go back to this place and would recommend it to anyone even those who would have to go out of their way to get here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our absolute favorite restaurant… anywhere, not just Rome, not just Italy. The Gargioli family has never disappointed us in the 6 years we have been visiting. Authentic, classic Roman cuisine beautifully executed by a family who loves what they do, loves their customers, loves food and wine and loves their city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a month in advance as this is a small place and bookings go up so fast. Ordered 2 antipasti, carbonara and boiled beef. The best dish was the boiled beef which was actually recommended by one of the waiters. Other dishes were quite good but not incredible. Overall a nice meal near the pantheon!
