★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Trattoria Antonio. The atmosphere is pleasant - perfect for a romantic dinner. Raoul was welcoming and took very good care of us. He made fantastic recommendations for food and wine. He was attentive but did not rush us. The food was amazing. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is owned by the same family as “Hostaria de Pastini” which is across the street. This is the more upscale version of both restaurants where they specialize in steak and seafood. The Chateaubriand was amazing and seared tableside. The wine choices are sublime. We love the staff and the restaurant. They also offer blankets for the cooler evenings. Tres Romantique!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were attracted by the shape of the glasses here - you know sometimes small details are catching your eyes. Italian cuisine is delicious and hospitality is famous. You can find it both here. Rest room is a bit messy, some more care there would an advantage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want a genuinely traditional Italian place to eat, with a great price/quality ratio, this is your spot! I was so incredibly impressed by Raul’s service and the quality of the food. Out of all places I have eaten in Rome this little hidden gem is one of Rome’s best kept secrets! Sensational quality and outstanding service (especially by Raul!).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a great find in Rome!! Right by the Pantheon which is a great location. We sat inside and it was such a lovely ambience, the staff couldn't do enough for us and also make an amazing aperol spritz!! The food was really great, in particular the truffle carbonara and the beef tartare. Had to deduct a star just because the lamb I had was a little dry and tough. Thank you for a great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is NOT a tourist trap! I avoided the place for 20 years like the plague before actually giving it a shot. Due to its location in a busy street close to the Pantheon I took it for granted that this would be another one of those traps where tourists are given below-par plates claiming to be authentic but i was pleasantly proven wrong! Thank goodness tomorrow I can come back to try some other plates before heading back home!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely a fine eat in Rome! The food quality is very high, of course, but I’d rather have my pasta a bit more cooked, especially for a carbonara. Nonetheless, I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for a fancy restaurant with very friendly staff. Be aware of the price range, though. If you’re having dessert, go for the “Ciambella”: you won’t regret it.
