★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting little restaurant. When you enter the first thing you notice is the smell. No, that's unfair. It's an irritating flavor that hits tour nostrils. Walking down into the basement you quickly find the insanely large Parmesan cheese lined up against the wall. Food was tasty. Weirdly sized portions. Starters bigger than expected. Main courses just a bite. Super friendly staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this quiet unassuming location. Down the stairs into an aroma filled heavenly eatery. The staff is exceptional and if you are not sure what you'd like to eat, just trust the staff to recommend something special. Wine choices are fantastic and although not a "cheap" place to eat, usually fine wine and great meals are not. Sit back, take your time and enjoy !!!! Thank you Francesco .......

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic location which we were very fortunate to find. Close to the Pantheon, but not an overly touristy restaurant. The Emilia–Romagna cuisine is some of the best Italy has to offer. Every dish we tried was simple and delicious. Service was fantastic also, very friendly and helpful in recommending wines and dishes.
Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Once you enter, you'll find yourself in a very cozy restaurant and as mentioned in their name, they have plenty of parmesan dishes. We were quite pleased to find this restaurant at random and we were not dissapointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the most memorable eating experiences. The owner is Francesco De Vecchi. The food, service, price and atmosphere is amazing. The most influential people in Rome eat here. I saw so many famous people eating here. Francesco is a lively character and the perma parmesan farm has been in his family for seven generations. Please do yourself a favor and see if you are lucky enough to get a reservation at ParmAroma when visiting Rome. Five stars because I can not give more.
