★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un fortino, tanto bello quanto algido, in realtà essendo una sede di rappresentanza del senato non è dato visitarlo se non nutrendosi di sguardi e di curiosità (motivi di sicurezza impediscono le riprese). Bellissima la sala presso la quale vengono fatte conferenze, presentazioni e convegni. A fort, as beautiful as it is icy, in reality being a representative seat of the senate, it is not allowed to visit it except by feeding on looks and curiosity (security reasons prevent filming). The room where conferences, presentations and conferences are held is beautiful. È impossibile distogliere lo sguardo dall'edificio cinquecentesco, dal portone decentrato e dal balcone sovrastante. Ovviamente, questa è una residenza istituzionale, come si può intuire.
Qui a Palazzo Giustiniani hanno dimora le sale di rappresentanza di alcune cariche istituzionali, oltre a vari servizi dell'amministrazione dello Stato.
Però, a me non piace soffermarmi sul presente, il mio pensiero è solo per i costruttori: Giovanni e Domenico Fontana, il Borromini.
Quest'ultimo è l'artefice delle modifiche al prospetto, che ne ricordano l'architettura unica, come, all'interno, l'elegante cortile e l'atrio dagli archi ribassati.
Il suo DNA avrebbe dovuto essere clonato, al pari del genio.
Worth noting
It is impossible to take your eyes off the sixteenth-century building, the off-center door and the balcony above. Obviously, this is an institutional residence, as you can guess.
Here in Palazzo Giustiniani are the halls of representation of some institutional offices, as well as various services of the state administration.
However, I don't like to dwell on the present, my thoughts are only for the builders: Giovanni and Domenico Fontana, Borromini.
The latter is the architect of the modifications to the façade, which recall the unique architecture, such as, inside, the elegant courtyard and the atrium with lowered arches.
His DNA should have been cloned, like the genius.
