★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautiful peaceful place to stay in Venice - air conditioning, clean and elegant rooms, close to the canal, the art district, gorgeous churches, cafes and restaurants...not far from the train station either...Wonderful hosts and i would definitely be back next time i'm in venice - here's hoping! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel is on a very quiet but pretty canal, easy to reach from the train and bus stations and an easy walk to good cafes and restaurants and some of the main sights.

No lift, no reception, no water in room, empty mini bar, 16 inch monitor as a TV, a very slow WiFi connection, broken shower and yes they don't serve vegetarian breakfast. So BEWARE. What else. !!!! STRICT NO....

My only complaint about my stay is the bed sheets and pillows !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great place to stay this family owned hotel makes!!! More geared towards a romantic getaway, the hotel has a perfect location, and outstanding staff.
Paolo, the hotel's older owner, is very helpful and thorough with his description of itineraries, and things to see in Venice and their history.
The breakfast is served in the bedroom every day which allows to take it with a view of the canal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No one is there to provide service. Rooms are devastated and not properly maintained. There was nothing in mini bar in our room. There was no proper blanket even, such You expect in hotels or hostels. Breakfast is a joke. In Italy, where best food should be served You can have best breakfast in the world bit not at this place. Everyday You will get same cheap products bought outside. Such breakfast like You get on every petrol station in the world while traveling. Coffee was terrible, it was in fact milk with a little coffee. Not recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to stay in a more quiet and less touristy part of Venice and this location was great. The owner is friendly and helpful with suggestions and directions. Breakfast is brought to your room in a basket- a nice touch.
Nearby are the Venice Jazz Club and the Galleria Della Academy museum and much else
