★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jacomo was very friendly. He gave great directions and attended to us well on day one. The plumbing had some problems. The hot water varies in pressure and temperature. Their directions from the train station are slightly wrong (probably a mistranslation). Look four the San Samuele station stop on the water bus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its first hotel where i took pictures. When i booked place it was very valuable option and i was thinking that its will be averege quality hotel with good location.
I am 5th day in Italy and its best looking hotel with best looking room (i hope you will be lucky enought to be in marco polo room). Very kind and helpful personel. Hotel based 1 min walking from station but in very sielent area. Room made very posh and its not only for catching eye. Walls are soft and furnitures are very old and nice. (we are from UK and we love old wooden furniture). Its best place to stay in Venice for that money. Thanks for service.

Our room and bathroom were beautiful and clean!
I would definitely recommend this place! And if there is “acqua alta” this place is in a great location to avoid it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff is very nice, the position is great, very close to S. Samuele boat stop, walking distance to the centre. The room looked better in the pictures, I found it a bit worned out in reality and it wasn't squeaky clean. The breakfast is basic with little to no options for vegetarians/vegans.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Haven't finished our stay yet, but so far it's been great. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The room is amazing. The bed is very hard but this suits me perfectly as I find soft beds very unkind on the body. The location is perfect for the majority of sights with a vaporetto stop 1 minute away if you need. Would stay here again if ever visiting in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh my god, I wish I could live here. This is probably the best hotel I have ever been to. Not only because you wake up to a view of a gorgeous little piazza in Venice, but because the hotel itself is gorgeous and very welcome. The decor has a lot of personality, whilst being very elegant. The host is super friendly and helpful, you feel right at home. She helped us with breakfast and made delicious cappuccinos for us. It was really hard to leave.

Liked · The breakfast has been simply amazing. Coffee has been perfect, the variety of food has been limited, but all food quality has been splendid.
The location has been very good. Close to all main attractions. I would rate t 9/10. It would be a ten if it has been a bit closer to Rialto bridge.
The staff has been lovely. Reception lady helped us to find the hotel and the breakfast lady has been really lovely by preparing perfect cappuccino and providing a pleasant company.
Disliked · The room has been big and goodish, but I did feel a bit disappointed by the quality. I have expected a bit more for this price. There have been no fancy sheets and pillows, there has been some unpleasant smell of chemicals on the arrival. Also, there have been flaws in decoration, small imperfections on the wall, a bit of web and obvious marks on the window.
But the bathroom has been definitely cleaned splendidly and it has been spacious.
