★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sommeliers are supposed to be humble and helpful. The owner here was neither. He was rude, and not in any way welcoming. We were there to buy wine, but we walked out and spent our money elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars! My sister and I did a wine tasting here and truly loved our unique experience. Mauro was an excellent host and we really enjoyed learning about Venice from him and tasting the different wines. The wine shop was very nice and Mauro was quite knowledgeable! I would recommend this wine tasting to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a specialty wine shop, not a place to sip and decide. I believe I worked with the owner who definitely had great knowledge and interest. He also was quite preoccupied (for a very good reason I have come to understand).
The prices are not bargains, but that’s not why I came. They ship everywhere, which is a huge plus. Their selection is pretty great given the region; it helps if you understand what the region around Venice does - and does not do - well.
Note that there is a small food shop pretty much across the street for those who “just need a bottle of good wine” and don’t want to engage in a journey.
My rating is based on my experience only and not the wine but I can see from his selection that the wine I selected should be great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've never been to a wine shop where when you ask to try the house wine (which he puts in plastic bottles in front of you) he tells you to leave. Incredible. Absolute shame on him for being so disgusting and unfriendly. The other wines that we bought were overpriced and bad. Go to any other wine shop in Venice or just a supermarket for better prices and quality

Stefano was so helful, funny, and made us feel relaxed. We ended up liking and a merlot and bought some for home.
Overall a great wine shop if you want to find something for yourself or to gift. And they have different price ranges. From the most expensive to the less ones.
Cannot recommend it enough.
