β β β β β took money out of my account with no prior warning even though I said pay at property and it still had free cancellation for a few more days. If I wanted to pay earlier I would have chose the non refundable option as it was cheaper. It said they MAY do a pre authorisation which is fine but it never said it would be for the full amount nor did it mention they would hold this until the date of stay! they said I could choose how I pay when I get there! no I chose to pay at property. so for the pure cheek of it and no warning I cancelled free of charge yet they still haven't released my funds! Give me my refund! they never answer the phone or emails either

β β β β β Apartment was well located next to main square. We enjoyed our stay there for two nights. Bathing space was too small but manageable.

β β β β β Ok so as close as this place is to the Rialto (2 mins) , it took forever to find the actual place. We kept walking past it! The door outside has no sign or name. The only reason we found it was due to asking the locals.
That aside, everything else was wonderful!
Nicola who met us at reception was great! Have us a map of Venice and pointed out suggestions for restaurants and places to visit on the map itself. He also answered all our questions about directions and how to get to the train stations.
The room itself was amazing! Ultra modern, nothing like the pictures. We had a sparkly clean private bathroom. The only problem, you can hear EVERYTHING. Like my girlfriend and I were having a normal conversation after midnight and a neighbour kept knocking on the door to keep it down.
We got keys for the main door so we could come and go as we pleased and Nicola allowed us to keep our luggage in the reception area for free.
Honestly I could say enough great things. It was wonderful!

β β β β β The location is brilliant, just five minutes walk from the rialto bridge, vaporetta stop and lalilaguna stop for The airport boat.
The two brothers which run Ca' Loredan are very friendly, knowledgeable and informative, giving us lots of tips and advice and gave us a large map of Venice. The room was basic but clean and the bed was comfortable, there was air conditioning, a mini bar which reasonably priced and a hair dryer in the bathroom. It was plenty good enough for me and my mum's 5 night stay! The brothers were only around until about 5pm but we had a key and could happily come and go as we pleased which suited us.
The only downside is that although it is a B&B they no longer serve breakfast, there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room although there is a kettle and microwave in the communal room but not much use as there are no cups, plates or cutlery to use which is a bit of an over site!
*Please note you also have to climb a few fights of stairs as there is no lift which could be a problem for some people struggling with luggage.

β β β β β Location is fabulous ! Cheap in comparison with competitors and excellent customer service. Staff is very friendly and helpful and speak many languages . Rooms are clean , provided with toiletries, towels and ever hairdryer . Bed is comfy and cozy . The only BUT is that the bathroom is quite old and sometimes smelly ...

β β β β β We loved our room. The location was ideal, very close to everything, St Marco, Rialto and many other famous places. When we choose the room we had no idea we were gonna get the atic one, and we got positively surprised. We even had a private terrace which you had to access through those cute steps. It really was great to stay there, very traditional. The only downside would be that the toilet ceiling was a lot lower than the room so you could only stand up on the middle area, on the rest of the areas you had to bend down, specially on the shower area, so you basically had to shower sitting down, not a huge issue anyway. I would definitely recommend the room. Loved the character. It really felt like you were in Venice!

β β β β β We had a good room in a convenient location so close to the grand canal. There is no reception though and our room hadn't been prepared fully (dirty coffee mugs from previous guests, lack of toilet paper..) The air conditioning worked well, which is a must-have if staying in Venice in summer as it gets extremely stuffy.

β β β β β We'll priced and easy to find (by venice standards anyways). Bathroom was a little moldy at edges of shower frame but the rest of the room was clean and spacious. Check in was a tad confusing but staff was friendly on check out. Fit the bill as an economical stay with AC in sweltering venice. I would stay again.
