What a great guide this Alex/Alessandro. Knows a lot to tell and made good contact with us, he responded to our needs. He knows both history, archeology and languages. Highly recommended for the large area of Pompei.

I had the pleasure of meeting Alessandro when I was steward at the Pompeii excavations.
Hearing him tell stories and anecdotes about the ancient city is something unique. He has a command of the English language which is music for any ear. He manages with his preparation to make you imagine every little detail with clarity and simplicity. You are literally catapulted back in time.
In addition to being prepared, he is an exquisite person.

He is incredibly knowledgeable which was made apparent by his ability to answer the various questions posed by our older son. Thank you Alex!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the 2 hour morning tour of Pompeii with Alex. He was terrific. He met us at the train station and had already picked up our tickets. All we had to do was show up and listen.
He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I would definitely recommend booking him as your guide when when going to see pompeii.
