The worst in the world: they’re trying to push their products by misleading people. The official tourist information office is at the entrance of the Pompei park which is just 10 min away by foot.

Wish I could leave no stars!! Much like the other person reviewing this office, the driver was a complete maniac! Better to go with the public bus which the stop is directly across the road and down a little from this office. (Timetable attached in the photo). This company sold us two seats in the minibus for the ‘tour’ and I had to sit on a stool all the way because the minibus was over sold with seats. The stool coupled with the drivers antics led to it being very unsafe and illegal without a seat belt. You cannot walk around the whole crater, instead you can walk part of the way and then back to the minibus. They suggest you buy the crater tickets up front also as it’s ‘super busy’ this is a con and they just want to secure your money. Don’t waste your time travelling with this cowboy company!

Don't go here! They will sell you expensive audioguides that don't work. When we came back to tell them, they didn't give us the money back. Unfortunately this kinda ruined our day in Pompeii. :(

Liars and cheats. It all seemed a bit ropey, telling us the entrance of Pompeii ruins was not where we were walking to. We ignored two women telling us this, despite there being a massive sign saying ENTRANCE... Could tell it was a scam, but there were a lot of people falling for it.

Great service. Thank you for organising our excursion to Vesuvius. The mini bus was on time on departure and return. Worth every penny.

We were disappointed !!! I viwed the other reviwes too late. These guys are extremly unprofessional. Even knowing that the weather will not allow you to see something will sell you tickets to Vesuvio. It was a time lost and the only aim is to take your 20E, having no attitude to the tourists. Do not loose your time and nerve with people that don't know how to work and what are doing there. Organize yourself with the public transport, it is much easier if would like to enjoy and add some good time to your stay.

I have never met somebody who has insulted me while traveling internationally, until my wife and I got off of our train next to this tourist office. A girl working there came up saying that we have to stop at the office first before heading to pompeii, we declined because our bus was about to arrive. She rolled her eyes, took a deep breath and said “no, you have to come get an audio guide because if you want to go to Pompeii, you need to know what Pompeii IS”. My wife and I are very aware of what Pompeii is, why else would we come to see it? While that whole ordeal was happening, our bus pulled up and stopped. My wife “oh our bus just parked!” And the girl responded “oh don’t worry he waits for a while, no problem.” And kept pressuring us to get the audio guides, again we politely declined, my wife said “eh if we have any questions we’ll just google it, we really don’t need the guide” to which the girl responded, while looking at me “okay well I guess she knows everything” in a snarky, blatantly disrespectful voice, obviously taking a shot at my wife. And then our bus pulled away, maybe 30 seconds after it had stopped, leaving us to wait for the next. When that happened the girl smiled and said “well I hope you figure it out, good luck” in, again, a disrespectful and pretentious tone of voice. It left such a sour taste in my mouth. On the bright side, it is still beautiful here, just don’t stop at any of the tourist offices, no matter how hard they try to force you to or lie to you about it.

Did NOT approach this office - instead some lady started harassing us about buying an audio guide and asking what kind of tickets we had already (we had already bought tickets - both the bus to Pompei scavi and entry into the archaeological site). She then told us, “You have to get an audio guide because if you’re going to Pompeii you need to know what Pompeii IS.” Um, lady, why do you think we’re HERE? During this ordeal, our bus pulled up, so I said this was our bus, to which she responded, “oh don’t worry they wait a while.” (Spoiler alert- It didn’t.) I proceeded to discuss with my husband that we’ve been fine without audio guides in our travel so I didn’t think it was necessary, speaking to him to get his opinion, not her. The lady then said, “Well since she knows EVERYTHING…” Which was EXTREMELY rude considering my husband and I were just discussing amongst ourselves. She then smiled when the bus pulled away, knowing we missed it, and snarkily said, “Well GOOD LUCK,” as we started walking toward our bus stop to catch the next bus. Another tourist office employee, this time a man, approached us trying to sell us the SAME audio guide and said the bus comes every five minutes (which I already knew was not true as the bus schedule is LITERALLY PUBLIC INFORMATION and shows about every 30 minutes). Scammers. Liars. Cheats. Rude.
