★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little station easy to get around only 2 platform number 1 to Sorrento platform2 to Naples. One word of warning don’t trust the people as you get of the train. They are lier and Crooks their tickets are over priced. Walk 5 minute to main ticket office a lot cheaper.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't trust the shuttle bus or the local tour operators. There is an entrance to the archeological site located in the south east corner.
We were stopped by no less then 5 of them telling us that was an exit only and it was a thirty minute walk to the entrance. We walked in under 10 minutes.
Save your money and time. take the metro and walk to the entrance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attention ! there is some liars there "fake touristic informations" to sell you tips and audio guide!! On the site of pompei there is free luggage deposit outside and inside and the historical site have audioguides! :)

It was clean and easy to navigate around, as it is not too large. Rather small, I would say.
Although it was overall in a clean condition, the restrooms could have been a little bit cleaner! However, I've seen far worse, so it is still pretty much acceptable.
This particular station is in the actual town of Pompei, about two kilometers away from the ancient excavation site, where you can find another station by the name of 'Pompeii Scavi'. Be careful when planning your trip, as these stations are easily confused with one another.
However, the 15 minutes footwalk from this station to the historic site are still considerable, as there are many attractive connections to this station from the city center of Naples.
