★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn’t know that it was so difficult to find a place for a lunch after 14:00 pm in Varenna. This place was one of the few that it was open during this time. The food was very delicious. You should try the pasta with lake ragu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutley terrible service! We orderd one plate of mixed meat and cheese and one pasta carbonara and one pizza. The mixed plate came after about 30 min and the rest did not come for the nex one and a half hour! We asked whats wrong and they said it’s comming. Then just the carbonara came with no fork to eat it with (none on the table). Pizza didn’t arrive at all. The pasta was cold and not good at all. We asked for the bill and did not want to wait for pizza anymore. The bill also did not come so we had to get up and walk to them to aks to pay.
House wine and plate with mixed meat and cheese was nice.
They did not even aplologize fot the bad service and were even rude when we said it is not ok to leave us waiting for two hours. Absolutley horrible service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our favorite restaurant that we ended up eating daily. The picture is of their tiramisu and house red (fabulous!). We loved the lasagna, tagliatelle, carbonara, and pizza! You can’t go wrong. The best part of this restaurant is the ambiance- listening to the cathedral bell while enjoying a glass of wine. We felt right at home here - they treated us like family! Gratzie!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing service, delicious pizzas and they looked after our 10month olds needs brilliantly… high chair, extra bread sticks and even a little plate so he could share our food. All without us needing to ask. Made us feel very welcome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food and service were great, only place open when we arrived late on our first night in Varenna and allowed us to order pizza even though closing... also let us buy milk and water to take back to our apartment. Returned a few days later as again open later than most others nearby and had lovely pasta and panna cotta! Recommend.
