R	Roberta Veronelli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'itinerario di Alba sotterranea è un tour guidato da un archeologo professionista molto bravo per una selezione di tre tappe tra le 32 del percorso archeologico cittadino. Le tappe variano di data in data Il mio si è concludono presso il museo archeologico e di scienze naturali Federico Eusebio. Si parte dall'esterno con la spiegazione della Cattedrale di San Lorenzo per addentrarsi poi nel sottosuolo. Il gruppo era troppo numeroso e così si perde un sacco di tempo per i vari spostamenti. Dai tempi di Alba Pompeia quello che oggi è il centro storico. La città medievale venne eretta sui resti di quella romana, quella moderna ne prese il posto senza cancellarla del tutto. Pensavo fosse più bella come visita ha un po deluso le mie aspettative anche se è comunque molto interessante. Comunque è una bella iniziativa perchè i soldi raccolti vengono destinati per i restauri. !3 euro però è un po troppo caro. F	Francesco Xodo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La visita tocca 3 diversi siti, uno sotto la Chiesa di San Giuseppe in cui si trovano i resti di un teatro romano, uno al di sotto dell’Ente del Turismo, in cui si trovano i resti delle case torre di epoca medievale (da cui il soprannome di “Cittá delle 100 Torri”) e l’ultimo dietro un istituto professionale in cui si trovano un ex magazzino e un pezzo della cinta muraria sempre di epoca romana (quando la città si chiamava “Alba Pompeia”). Il tour si conclude poi con una visita alla sala del Museo F. Eusebio che ospita i fossili del Mastodonte di Verduno e della Balenottera di Alba, rinvenuti di recente sulle sponde del fiume Tanaro. Il costo del biglietto è di 10€, la durata di circa 1h e 45 minuti, con lo stesso biglietto si può visitare l’intero Museo F. Eusebio e ottenere uno sconto di 1€ sul biglietto per salire sul campanile della Chiesa di San Giuseppe. Mi ha fatto piacere che a farci da guida ci fosse un ragazzo neolaureato in Archeologia, che a dispetto della timidezza dovuta all’età, era molto competente. The visit touches on 3 different sites, one under the Church of San Giuseppe where the remains of a Roman theater are located, one below the Tourist Office, where the remains of medieval tower houses are located (from which the nickname of "City of 100 Towers") and the last one behind a professional institute in which there is a former warehouse and a piece of the city walls, also from the Roman era (when the city was called "Alba Pompeia"). The tour ends with a visit to the room of the F. Eusebio Museum which houses the fossils of the Mastodon di Verduno and the Balenottera di Alba, recently found on the banks of the Tanaro river. The cost of the ticket is € 10, the duration of about 1 hour and 45 minutes, with the same ticket you can visit the entire F. Eusebio Museum and get a € 1 discount on the ticket to climb the bell tower of the Church of San Giuseppe . I was pleased that we were guided by a young graduate in Archeology who, despite his age-related shyness, was very competent.

Grazie alla guida che ci ha accompagnati in questi posti magnifici. Consigliata assolutamente, inoltre visita al campanile da dove si può ammirare uno splendido panorama. Unexpected underground Alba tour. I really liked the itinerary proposed among the possible ones. Thanks to the guide who accompanied us to these magnificent places. Absolutely recommended, also a visit to the bell tower from where you can admire a splendid panorama.
C	Cinzia Massaglia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visita molto interessante, come guida un giovane archelogo che ci ha accompagnato lungo 3 diversi siti (sotteranei e non) sparsi per il centro storico albese. Al termine la possibilità di completare in autonomia la visita al museo civico Eusebio. Anche i bambini (9 anni) ne sono rimasti entusiasti! La rifarei molto volentieri toccando altri siti. Da prenotare.

Il giro e la spiegazione sono molto accurati e dettagliati da archeologhi molto competenti che rendono la visita interessante. Alla fine del tour puoi visitare le stanze del museo dove ci sono numerosi reperti! Molto molto interessante. Merita! ?? The visit of underground Alba is very interesting and touches different sites. The tour and the explanation are very accurate and detailed by very knowledgeable archaeologists which make the visit interesting. At the end of the tour you can visit the rooms of the museum where there are numerous finds! Very very interesting. It deserves! ??

T	Tammy Bonafede on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tour was in Italian language, english handouts is available, the tour guide was very friendly and knows the story very well ( she's an archeologist ) it was very interesting although we saw only some part of the ruins because the tours are seasonal.
