E' uno degli edifici più significativi di tutta la città: la sua figura imponente, ma nello stesso tempo austera. Di particolare interesse il portale. The church was built with the convent of San Domenico. It is one of the most significant buildings in the whole city: its imposing but at the same time austere figure. The portal is of particular interest.

XVIII quando foram construídas as 3 naves e pintadas as abóbadas. Hoje alberga exposições de arte. Relevante é a existência de frescos do séc. XIV, entretanto restaurados. This church was built in the century. XIII to serve the adjacent Dominican convent. It underwent significant changes in the century. XVIII when the 3 naves were built and the vaults painted. Today it houses art exhibitions. Relevant is the existence of frescoes from the century. XIV, meanwhile restored.

Fu fondata nel 1292 per i predicatori Domenicani, pianta rettangolare con colonnato centrale. Sono presenti molti affreschi del XIV secolo, alcuni in buono stato e ben restaurati. Da molti anni viene usata per esposizioni soprattutto di opere artistiche ma anche per convegni ed eventi speciali. The Church of San Domenico is an interesting example of a cross between the Romanesque style and hints of Gothic. It was founded in 1292 for the Dominican preachers, with a rectangular plan with a central colonnade. There are many 14th century frescoes, some in good condition and well restored. For many years it has been used for exhibitions mainly of artistic works but also for conferences and special events.

Caratteristico il portale con colonnine dove sono raffigurati la Madonna col Bambino e, ai lati, Santa Caterina e San Domenico. L'interno a tre navate ha colonne in bianco e nero, e nonostante le modifiche intervenute nel corso dei secoli sono ancora visibili alcuni affreschi del trecento-quattrocento. The church dedicated to San Domenico has a Gothic style even if its origins are more ancient. Characteristic is the portal with columns where the Madonna and Child are depicted and, on the sides, Santa Caterina and San Domenico. The interior with three naves has black and white columns, and despite the changes that have occurred over the centuries, some frescoes from the fourteenth and fourteenth centuries are still visible.
