★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a king room. The staff is there to check you in, I'm sure they are available should you need anything, but they do stay out of your way. Cleaning and breakfast staff are kind and friendly. Even though it was fairly full on my floor, it was so quiet. I did enjoy locally made soap and shampoo, scented with herbs and florals grown in the area. Lots of religious stuff, as this is a former seminary with church and gardens.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The location is perfect, and especially if your driving your own car - free parking in the backyard. Everything is very clean.. Negative: The comfort is under an average hotelstandard, and the light in your room will get you sun tanned..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The room and the bathroom were very spacious, everything needed was provided (I could even borrow a plate and cutlery from the kitchen to prepare my own breakfast) and the location of the Il Seminario is perfect to discover the city centre of Alba.. Negative: It was quite noisy, starting already at 7 in the morning. As soon as someone checked out, the cleaning ladies started their job, pushing their carts over the tiles, no matter what time in the morning it was, and that was VERY loud. Even louder than the school kids chatting along in the street in the morning. For people like me, who like to sleep a little longer, this is not the right place to stay. If you always get up early or have to leave early (for a tour or a train e.g.), than it is perfect!.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the second time we have stayed. The location is one of the best things--centrally located in the old town, with ample, secure (gated) free parking.The staff is always very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Rooms are fairly basic, but comfortable. Great shower in our King room.
Our first stay we found the room to be very quiet. This past time there were more guests, and you will hear anyone in the hallway or immediately adjacent to you. The price-to-value ratio can't be beat, though.
Breakfast is available for an extra 9€ per person, or you can easily find a coffee shop nearby.
