Of the 6 bottles of 50+ year old wines we shipped, 4 have been in excellent condition, 1 was past it's peak but well stored, and 1 lies in wait for our tastebuds.
Sure, prices are relatively high from a local perspective but when considering limited availability and retail prices to Oz, this shop offers excellent value. Shipping costs are painful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was the 4th winery we entered and it was by far the cheapest. I don't know why someone said it's a tourist trap but we had a very nice experience. We bought Nebbiolo and Dolcetto for 5 euros (less expensive than we found it in a supermarket) we also bought some of their tasty liqueur which we were able to taste in advance. We'll buy again next time we pass by Alba.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little wine shop with many local beverages and products from the local gastronomy. We bought the cheapest wine here, the local dolcetto and nebbiolo delle Langhe, very good quality too. We were able to taste other local specialities like the amaro and nocciole liquors. Very good at affordable prices too. The service was impeccable and we appreciated the conversation. We totally recommend this place.
