★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quello che impressiona maggiormente è la meravigliosa fusione tra l'architettura cimiteriale e l'ambientazione naturale. Il panorama che si vede dal punto più alto del cimitero è stupendo.
Ovviamente è impossibile non pensare al sacrificio dei giovani canadesi, ma nonostante questo, l'Agira Canadian War Cemetery trasmette delle sensazioni positive...

What is most impressive is the marvelous fusion between the cemetery architecture and the natural setting. The view from the highest point of the cemetery is stunning.
Obviously it is impossible not to think about the sacrifice of young Canadians, but despite this, the Agira Canadian War Cemetery conveys positive feelings ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place blew me away and moved me more than other war memorials or cemeteries I’ve visited. When you are here you overlook this enormous valley where these soldiers have fought and you feel the heat they must have also felt. Half way around the world fighting for people they’ve never met. I walked past each gravestone and read every name and saluted then all for their service. And it made me wonder how we are doing in 2019 standing up for our principles and ideas of a free world....
When in the neighborhood, please visit this place. It changes your perspective....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most peaceful and beautiful cemeteries I have visited. It is truly well cared for by the local Sicilians, for which I will always be thankful. Every time I am deployed to Sicily I make a 'pilgrimage' to this very sacred place, and take time to reflect on the sacrifice of those who lay there and those who served in Italy, and returned home bearing the scars of their service. I remain forever grateful for their dedication and sacrifice, and for the care that Sicily and Italy have shown for our fallen.
We Will Remember Them.
