Forse colpa dell'estate torrida di questo anno, non so se ad agosto è sempre così ma penso sia una gita da fare nei mesi di primavera e autunno. C'ero stata un paio di anni fa ad ottobre ed è stato magico ma passeggiare senza il rumore dell'acqua che ti accompagna, senza cascata non è la stessa cosa, anzi non ne vale la pena. 09/08/2018 Disappointment. This excursion deserves but not the month of August where the water has completely dried up, the waterfall does not exist. Perhaps the fault of this year's hot summer, I don't know if it's always like this in August but I think it's a trip to do in the months of spring and autumn. I had been there a couple of years ago in October and it was magical but walking without the sound of the water accompanying you, without a waterfall is not the same thing, indeed it is not worth it.
M	Marta Barbero on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ci si arriva solo da Ripa, seguite le indicazioni per gole del salinello e non impostate il navigatore per la cascata perché vi porta dall'altra parte del monte. In estate tutte le gole e la cascate sono asciutte. Però il percorso a piedi è molto carino e molto bello il canyon! Sul percorso incontrare la grotta di s. Giorgio, molto bella e la guida bravissima! You can only get there from Ripa, follow the signs for gole del salinello and do not set the navigator for the waterfall because it takes you to the other side of the mountain. In the summer, all the gorges and waterfalls are dry. But the walking path is very nice and the canyon is very beautiful! On the way you will find the cave of s. Giorgio, very beautiful and the very good guide!
p	pino e. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bel posto immerso nel verde e vicino a Civitella del Tronto. Bel percorso in un canalone molto suggestivo. Peccato che di acqua non ce ne fosse nemmeno una goccia. Penso che il periodo indicato per visitarlo sia la primavera Nice place surrounded by greenery and close to Civitella del Tronto. Nice route in a very suggestive gully. G	Gildo Durante on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le gole del Salinello nascondono molti piccoli tesori. Uno di questi è certamente la cascata che introduce all'ambiente severo delle Gole. E' raggiungile, in circa 30 minuti, dall'area picnic di Ripe lungo un percorso in discesa che lascia sulla destra prima la Grotta Sant'Angelo, poi il sentiero per Castel Manfrino. Il percorso diventa più ripido fino a un bivio successivo oltre il quale si procede scendendo a sinistra, per breve tratto, su sentiero impervio e molto difficoltoso. Lo sforzo è ampiamente ripagato dalla vista della cascata che si offre in tutta la sua imponenza da un balcone naturale. Si può continuare la discesa fino al greto del torrente. Il periodo migliore per una visita è la primavera: in estate il torrente è in secca e rischiate di non vedere la cascata. The Salinello gorges hide many small treasures. Sonst kriegt man nasse Füße. Wir haben viele Orchideen und andere Blumen entdeckt. M	Matteo Bussani on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice waterfall hidden in the Salinello Gorge!!! But very difficult to get near to! You need to take an unmarked very steep and slippery trail downhill through the wood at a crossroad on the main trail of the Salinello gorge. Some ropes are there along the path to help you descend/clime back, but get booted up!! Not for the faint of heart, but worth the effort!
