★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best way to appreciate Volterra! Annie is a US transplant, so her appreciation for this amazing city really comes across. She helped our group appreciate the amazing feats of the Etruscans as well as celebrates the spirit of this city's current residents. I especially appreciated her personal anecdote about her husband's aunt's participation in saving the last remaining Etruscan gate from destruction by the fleeing German army in a daring overnight exploit.
