P	Piero Steinger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bread was stale, our mains were forgotten (we waited for an hour, even after asking twice for it), and they served us the wrong stuff - twice. They have pizza with fries on the menu, which is a big nono in itself. At least they brought a bottle of wine as a consolation
P	Petrus Scultetus on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got 2 Carbonaras, both were cold as just taken out of „the fridge” and pizza Salame Toscana which was served with black-burned edges. White wine was of poor quality. Only Coca Cola and water did not disappoint and kept the level. Finally one of weiters poured water on my pants (fortunately water not sth else). It cost all together almost 47 EUR incl. coperto. Recommendation: do not be treated by nice location, stay away!

The palazzo itself is incredibly beautiful--if you dine outside, do at least walk in to look around! The food is equal to its setting, the staff and family are friendly and professional...and it's easy to find, being at the back of the main piazza in town, the Piazza dei Priori. (P. S. Volterra's beef is outstanding!)

Last but not least, there was GLASS in one of the spaghetti carbonara’s! Next to that all the service was very bad and they didn’t care about this at all. Don’t ever eat at this place!
S	Sjoerd Meeuwsen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yesterday after a diner elsewhere we past by this restaurant and talked to one of the waiters, a nice young men. We talk briefly about this odd Corona year. He called it a lost year and I sadly agreed with that. We promised to come back for dinner this evening and we did. It surely was not al lost evening. We had a nice diner served by a friendly staff. Good food with a good bottle of Tuscan wine! After we payed the more than reasonable bill, we walked over the square towards to our hotel and somebody called us. It was the young waiter who thanked us and gave us a small bottle of Cianti wine. What I nice gesture! This will be a good memory of our visit to Volterra. Thank you and till next time.

Staff were very quick, safe and efficient. There was quite a variety on the menu but we both chose pizza. Had a crunchy base and good toppings but it was not the best I’ve ever had.
W	WaWa See on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good wine and amazing steak. My partner and I had a 1.2kg Bistecca alla Fiorentina (Florentine steak) with a bottle of Chianti. They were having a promotion and we paid just under 50 euros for all these.
