I had a very bad experience at this museum. The exhibits were okay but one of the docents, I believe that was her position, was extremely rude to me on September 29, 2019. She was a short woman with short hair. She rudely told me that I needed to have my backpack in front if me, not behind, that it was a requirement. First of all, it was not a backpack, it was a waist worn camera bag and quite small. Holds only one camera and two small lenses. Secondly, there were other patrons in the museum who had actual backpacks in and they were on their backs--full sized backpacks! She did not approach them and tell them to put their backpacks in front of them. When we punched our tickets at the counter no one told me I had to move my camera bag to the front. They saw I had it and said nothing. No where did i see posted that backpacks had to be worn i front and i did 't have one anyway, this woman was extremely rude and aggressive. I moved my camera bag to the front, anyway, and tried to enjoy my visit. I took the elevator to the next floor and this woman followed me up there! No reason, just seemed to have some kind of issue with me. She got off, told me that there were exhibits of coins on that floor and I was not to touch or handle the coins. I have no idea why she told me that except to be harassing me. I told her fine and she got back o the elevator and left, back to her lair, I suppose. I looked around and the only coins I saw on that floor were displayed behind plexiglass. I could not have touched them if I had wanted to, which I didn't. I have been to museums around the world and know better than to touch artifacts. My husband and I didn't bother to visit the last floor of the museum. All the cases were smeared with finger prints, not very well displayed. Interesting but the rude woman ruined the experience. I don't know why she took a dislike to me but it was obvious she singled me out for some reason. The other employees were nice and quite helpful. This rude woman ruined our experience.

This was not one of the most exciting museums I have seen. If you are interested in Etruscan culture in details, this is proper venue, otherwise there is a lot of similar statutes. They are of great historical value, but presentation is a bit boring. Definitely not for kids.

The second biggest museum of Etruschi in the world. Really a lot to see, with many elements and aspects of their culture.

Nice museum with rich collection from Etruscan times. There is wonderful view from the terrace on the 3th floor.
