β β β β β Cash only, no pin. Small but nice museum, 8 euros per adult which is fair. Lots of old torturing devices and stories about them.

β β β β β Quite nice place to learn about different devices of torturing. There are descriptions in 4 languages for most items: Italian, English, German, French. I would add more creepy atmosphere by some scary music and more darkness. Anyway, it's and interesting place to visit

β β β β β The museum has a noble goal to fight against torture and gain awareness to many tortures that are still used nowadays in different countries.

β β β β β The owners did not let us in because apparently our vaccination certificates were not valid.
After explaining them that the day before we went to different museums in Florence.
We are both double jabbed, and they acted very rudely.
I donβt recommend at all.

β β β β β Really interesting and different. Probably spent 20-30 minutes here, but it was a nice change of pace and only 6 euro. It's the kind of museum that is eye opening and sticks in your mind after you leave. I recommend it!

β β β β β Gotta know the past to realize a better future, just visit it to have an idea about discrimination was 100/200 years ago. Something obout those obscenities are still present on our World and everybody should reflect on this. Talking bout The museum itself is well manteined and not too big. Is silent and is placed in one of the most Volterra's beautiful plazas. I suggest it also to young tourists that wants to know more about Europe history.

β β β β β Great museum with description in four languages...one of the best I have seen so far. Humans have no limit for cruelty.
