The visit to the bell factory is also wonderful to understand how much work and passion is behind the construction of a bell.

In my opinion, the "John Paul II Bell Museum" is little known and underestimated. It is a beautiful museum having to be able to admire many interesting things and learn about the history of the birth of the bells. Inside are preserved pieces of the history of the foundry, from the Middle Ages to the present. The oldest document that the museum contains is a Dutch edition of 1664 of the treatise "De Tintinnabulis", considered the "Bible", of each bell-maker. In addition to pieces of bells and display cases that hold bronzes of various shapes, looks and ages, the museum has photographic and video finds that recall the visits of other popes to the foundry: Pius XI, John XXIII and the aforementioned John Paul II. I highly recommend it to everyone.
