Lo dimostra la città che è completamente nuova, lo dimostrano i cimiteri militari qui presenti o nei comuni vicini e lo mostra in un modo assolutamente impressionante il museo historiale dove è posto all'esterno questo carro armato
Scoperto per caso ma ti permette di rivivere ciò che è stato.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi found this museum by accident in 2006. My family immigrated to Canada from nearby Cervaro following the war. This museum is very well done if you want to learn about the Battle of Monte Cassino and the Italian front in WW 2. Hearing the Canadian anthem in the museum is something I will never forget.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really disappointed that it was closed for the winter (in May !!!) looked like it was last opened several years ago. The details on google listing did not reflect that it was closed for the winter. My Grandpa served in R.A.O.C 8th Army in WW2 here. It would have been good if I could have found out more about the battle of MonteCassino... real shame but can’t help that I got the feeling that the tens of thousands that died here are being forgotten... not even a sign to the Commonwealth Cemetery from centre of town. Poor...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great museum. I liked it very much, it is not so much about seeing things (guns,helmets,tanks,etc) that remained from the war. In my opinion, the objective of this museum is to make us feel and understand what the soldiers and citizens went through in this war... how horrifying it was... it is a audiovisual museum!
