What a treasure! Absolutely loved this experience. The art is amazing, so diverse and you really can experience the beautiful of that time. The price is very aligned for the experience, only 6 euros for adult. Also this place isn’t that touristy, so you won’t need to cope with tourist crowds nor long waiting lines. During my visit I saw there maximum 10 other guests.

Escape the hussle and bustle of Rome for this lovely quiet oasis. It’s a gorgeous old villa with a long and impressive history. While parts of it are still under restoration, those that have been completed are quite stunning with works by Raphael and other well known artists. The audio guide is well worth getting. Most areas have English translations too. It’s well worth a visit. Expect to spend an hour to an hour and a half here. (Note: the front counter staff are very grumpy here. They need to be more pleasant. The security guard is a lovely fellow though.)

When something is that drastically under construction, the 10 euro price should be much lower or free. And the nerve to have a separate price and tour for the garden?! Insult to injury. Basically it's a bunch of badly painted murals. Aweful. Add to the fact that it was a half a mile from the nearest public transportation from Rome central area, up steep hills, meant I got more benefit out of the walk than I did from the tour.

Unfortunately a very ignored place among the tourists. The outside part of the building and garden are a bit neglected but once one enters the villa is impossible not to be mind blown. Raffaello’s frescoes are all over the place, every ceiling is unique and incredible! Really worth a visit.

Very underwhelming visit. While you pay the full price, the two largest rooms in the Villa were closed for restoration, and on top of that the gardens were also close, with the same reason, for β€˜restoration’ (why you cannot simply walk the pathway and admiring the views are still a mistery)

The few really important master pieces worth while in the villa are under restauration. No price reduction or notice given. Very disappointed. The rest is β€œnice to see if you have too much time in Rome β€œ which is never the case. Retain my not worthy 10€.

A Villa that dates back to the Roman period. It was a very wealthy merchants house in fact known as the richest in Rome. It host Frescos done by Raphael and Sodoma. Enjoy.

Place to see frescoes designed by Rafaello. Worth seeing but only after you did better and bigger galleries. If you have limited time and have to choose, don't go with this one. But if you're already in vicinity and have an hour to spare -go for it. the explanations for what you see are focused on technicalities too much. It's explained how things were made, but not the story of artists behind it (one room was not finished - I still don't know why it wasn't done.)
