Very nice place, good food and really helpful staff! It is a good place to stop and have a bite on your way to Trastevere or to the Botanical Gardens. We had coffee and sandwiches (panini), muffins and croissants and they were all great

This was one of my favorite breakfast spots on our trip. It's very clean and quiet with plenty of seating in the mornings; there are mostly just a few folks reading newspapers. Everything was reasonably priced and our drinks were ready within less than a minute of sitting down, and they make fresh orange juice to order which might convince you that you're the healthiest person to ever live. Everyone who worked there was attentive and endearing, especially the older gentleman who I assume is the owner or manager. The last time we visited, we had our suitcases with us and he was very sweet about asking us to move them so we wouldn't block a service door that we hadn't even noticed (it's on the decorative wall so it blends right into the pattern). He even brought an extra little pitcher of steamed milk for my cafΓ©. Very cute little spot :)

This is the first stop we made for breakfast while visiting Rome, a nice little spot not too far from Trastevere center. The pastry was great and the cappuccino was the best I have had so far. The lady working was nice and helpful while we tried to figure out what everything was. The decor was unique and modern compared to most cafe in the area. I would like to go back and try more pastry and definitely get the cappuccino again.

This was the first cafe I visited while in Italy. I was very nervous to try to communicate while knowing very little of the local language. The staff were very welcoming and did their best to communicate with my husband and I. The coffee was great and my breakfast was simple, but good! Will definitely go back if I am back in that area.

Service: Arrived at 12:30 on a weekday and was advised that we could not be seated unless we bought something to eat. The whole cafe was empty inside and outside. The waitress was quite rude and didn't seem to give the impression that she wanted to serve us. Probably why the place was empty because she chased everyone away. Alternative: Try out The Desserts of Checco We Carettiere. We sat down (on the same day) and within seconds a waiter was serving us and providing recommendations. It's also in a quieter location under the shade so you won't need to be concerned about passing cars rubbing up against you.

Nice family owned place. Good coffee and bakery. Perfect aperitivo place from 6.30 PM. Also tasteful quick lunches, the Italian way.

CafΓ© Lungara was one of my favourite cafes in Rome. The Espresso was absolutely delicious. We ordered chicken sandwich, spinach and cheese and ham and cheese sandwiches. All of them were so tasty. The freshly squeezed orange juice was also a hit. Pricing was a bit pricey compared to their competitors but all was good when customer service was absolutely amazing.
