★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing day in Venice! Lucia was AMAZING! I had studied Venice in many of my history classes at school and I still learned volumes from our tour. She was the most prepared and friendly guide I've ever had. She took us all around Venice, told us the history, and gave many recommendations for eating and shopping. We also toured the Dogi Palace and most, if not all of San Marco. Even when it came time to end the tour she was more then helpful in giving us directions and suggestions of what to do for the rest of the day. Lucia made our day in Venice the best I've had in Europe!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lucia was very open on our communication prior to our tour at the Gallerie dell’ Accademia. She graciously accommodated our request to focus the tour on the artwork at the Accademia. She met us punctually and with an amazingly friendly greeting. She first showed us some images of Venetian artwork to describe the differences in the modern-day buildings as she described some historical information about the Accademia. She has lived in the US for a number of years and her English is perfect.
Once we entered the Gallerie Lucia’s extraordinary passion and vast knowledge about Venetian art, culture and history became apparent instantly. She had meticulously planned the sequence of paintings and artwork to view with us. She pointed out many aspects and details in the paintings while she provided an in-depth commentary about the painter and their art. Lucia has a strong connection with the Venetian art and brings it to life.
Lucia was very willing to answer any question that we had. She kept the pace of the tour coordinated with our desires. The 2.5 hours in the Gallerie was an amazing experience and we are so grateful to Lucia for becoming a friend while she shared her knowledge as we explored the art collection with her. We highly recommend Lucia as your next tour guide.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think this was the best tour I've ever been on! Lucia has a wealth of knowledge and was able to bring the history and current state of Jewish culture and community in Venice to life. It was an incredible lens through which to experience the city, could not recommend this tour more highly. We were also just so impressed she was able to answer our many, many questions. You won't regret going on any tour with Lucia!!

Lucia shared the history not only of the ghettos, but also of Venice in order to set the foundation and give us a better understanding of it all. She is great story teller and very passionate about what she does. She made the tour interactive and fun while immersing us in the history of the ghettos but also Venice. She even went above and beyond by sharing recommendations of some of her favorite spots in Venice and offering herself as a resource for the rest of her visit. I can’t speak highly enough of this tour and of Lucia. This is a must do tour during your time in Venice!
