★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This little boutique shop is one of my favorites in Venice. The eye glasses are carefully curated its owner Alessandro who is very hospitable, honest, friendly and very professional. He always makes the effort to bring new interesting items and has excellent service when ordering opticals!!! If you are looking for unique design glasses this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Boudoir this past January while in Venice, bought a pair of sunglasses and spent a while chatting with the owner - Alessandro. After I returned to NYC, he helped me pick out of a pair of very unique glasses for my boyfriend. Alessandro was incredibly helpful throughout the process, and despite the time difference was super responsive. Boudoir has a curated selection of unique/one-of-a-kind brands due to Alessandro's impeccable taste and expertise. I am so happy with the glasses I have bought from him and will ONLY get my glasses from him in the future. I highly recommend checking out Boudoir and meeting Alessandro - he truly goes above and beyond for his customers. Not to mention it was one of the few authentic (i.e. non touristy) shops I found while in Venice

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found this eyeglass shop while visiting Venice. The glasses are so amazing - very stylish and reasonably priced. The customer service is spectacular. I lost a piece to one of my glasses and the owner shipped it to me in America. I get compliments all the time on my glasses. The owner does online orders. Therefore, I will always be getting my eyeglasses from this eye shop, even when in America. Best eyeglass shop I have ever been to. My husband bought sunglasses from the same store and loves his as well.

Located in a wonderful neighborhood of Venice, Dorsoduro, the shop is definitely worth stopping by if you need eyewear for style or even more in-depth eyewear services. The proprietor of the store, Alessandro, is very helpful and recommends purely based on the customer's need. I felt very confident with my purchase and would recommend his business to you while visiting/living in Venice.

We bought a pair of quality sunglasses while on vacation in Venice (Aug 2021). Clearly Alessandro - the owner - knew we were tourists and repeat sales would be not so obvious. Yet, he inspected the glasses before packing them and spotted a super minor defect in one of the lenses. Promptly suggesting to order replacement glasses form the factory and shipping them to our home address. He could have let us go very easily without and we would not even have noticed nor have blamed him if we noticed anything in the lens. Mille grazie Alessandro.

I’ve ordered from him online and had the pleasure of visiting his shop in Venice which houses many, many, of the most beautiful and unique pieces of eyewear from Italy and beyond. If you want unique glasses or sunglasses, or even something traditional but of exceptional quality, Alessandro will have it. His shop is spotless, he is mindful of Covid health precautions, and his shop is located in a piazza with lovely eateries and other things to do-so by all means, make a trip to Boudoir and treat yourself to something special! Note to travelers-you can also get contact lenses here!
