★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful time during our two-hour private Bacaro food tour. Our guide, Isabella, did a great job telling us about the city of Venice and its various neighborhoods and we really got a feel for the local culture. It goes without saying, the food was amazing!
We told her a few things we did not like and she worked around that to create a tasty, authentic menu during our three stops. I highly recommend taking a stroll for some food, wine, and culture if you find yourself in Venice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Isabella led an outstanding custom tour from Venice to Padua for us. We gave her a brief guide to our interests and she planned a very inclusive tour beginning with the Giotto frescoes in the Scrovegni Chapel and then public buildings and porticos, the university, markets, the botanical garden and an historic cafe. She and the driver worked together efficiently to make the most of our time. Isabella didn’t just walk us past buildings, but talked of their history and context. My husband is a European historian and found her knowledge impeccable.

Got lost and walked in circles a few times but knew not to cross over a bridge to get back to our hotel! Your love of the city shown through your presentation of the city. Enjoyed it so much more after spending the day with you and learning about the rich history. The private boat tour was so enjoyable! Again Grazie!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A private tour with Isabella was a birthday gift from my husband, and it was such a treat! Isabella had a private water taxi arranged for us, and it felt amazing to travel on it through the lagoon. We got glimpses of tiny islets and abandoned monasteries, and Isabella’s commentaries provided a fascinating background to what we saw. Isabella has a truly encyclopedic knowledge of Venetian art, history, culture, and (to my absolute delight!) of Venetian food. She is also well aware of numerous little details that make or break your sightseeing: we were able to enjoy Torcello without crowds (they come later in the day, and Isabella knows it), and on Burano we got to enjoy freshly baked cookies ( how did she time our arrival so precisely ;-)?). On Murano we watched glass artisans creating exquisite pieces, and Isabella arranged for an expert to explain us the process. I think that it takes more than simply remembering the facts to be a truly professional tour guide. Isabella definitely knew the facts, but beyond that she had logistics of the tour organized with a masterful precision, and also was able to introduce us to charm, passion, drama, and humor of Venice. We had tons and tons of fun on our tour with Isabella, and we were able to make some very precious memories.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a magical time in Venice. My husband and I opted to do a private tour, and I am so glad we did! Our guide was so kind and took the guess work out of where to go and what to see. We were immersed in the history and culture throughout the day, learning and exploring all day. I will recommend this to any friends or family traveling to Venice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a 3-hr walking+boat trip with Isabella on my recent trip to Venice. There was a change of arrival date and we almost had to cancel the trip, but Isabella has been cool and accommodating with the change. During the walk, she has given us insight information about Venice and how people live in the past and during the last 2 years of Covid-19. It helps that Isabella is a true local living there so she knows the place and people very well. We had a wonderful time and ended it with a great boat ride in the Grand Canal. ?? Thanks Isa.

Venice with Isabella. She gave an excellent
overview of the history of the city. Her
introduction was filled with endless and
wonderful stories regarding the food, the
history, the culture, the architecture, the
politics, and the joys and difficulties of living in
perhaps the most beautiful city ever built. She
personalized our tour including a few specific
and very personal interests. She introduced us
to wonderful Venetian products with which we
were not familiar, and pointed out several
museums which we were not to miss. Overall,
our visit was tremendously enhanced by this
tour. Her English was wonderful. We enjoyed
the time we spent with her, and when we return
to northern Italy will likely ask her for future
guidance. I honestly think she provided the
best private tour I have ever experienced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Isabella is outstanding! We travel all over the world and frequently engage guides. Isabella was the perfect guide for our family in Venice. She is not only knowledgeable about all landmarks but the best restaurants, hotels, as well as how the history of Venice relates to the rest of the world. Isabella can not jut tell you where to buy the best local made lace but get you special access to private galleries as well.
I cannot recommend Isabella highly enough and look forward to our next trip in Venice with her again.
