Vatican Relax Guesthouse

Le seul bémol étant le petit déjeuner qui n'est pas au rendez vous. Par contre l'emplacement est vraiment très bien. Proximité des transports en communs pour les sites touristiques.

Wirklich tolles guesthouse. Wir wurden anfangs super freundlich begrüßt und eingewiesen. Sogar die Sehenswürdigkeiten wurden erklärt. Leider ist die Dusch Wand teilweise mit Schichtoptik Fliesen belegt. Somit ein krasser Schimmelpool, daher ein Punkt Abzug. Ich denke das Personal müsste jeden Tag mit Chlor schrubben damit das Problem nicht aufkommt. Mega genial ist, dass im Zimmer ein vernetzter Smart TV war. Somit konnten wir Netflix mit unserem Account sehen. Mega gut!

Una guesthouse molto curata, comoda, a poco passi dalla fermata della metropolitana. Di stile moderno, offre comfort ed eleganza. La colazione viene servita in camera con ordine lasciato alla porta la sera prima. Bisogna accordarsi sull'orario di arrivo per la reception.

I never before got such a good service! We got picked up from the airport with Mercedes Benz. For valentines day they put flowers on the bed, a bottle of champagne "Moet!" and sweets in the room FOR FREE! Our plane was at night and we wanted to leave our bags there after check out, so we are free to walk through the city another day, instead, they left us the key to the room for the whole day without extra payment! This is the service I want to get everywhere! They told us also where to buy clothes and so on...The place is very clean, comfortable, quiet, warm and at very, very good price for this service! Thank you very much for this great holiday in Roma! We will come back again :)

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of september and were amazed by comfort, so friendly service and cleanness of this guesthouse. The view on basilica, breakfast in bed every morning, ac and everything you need, even Netflix, what's not usual even in much bigger hotels. The location it's the best for you when you call yourself traveller, not so tourist. The neighbourhood it's just typical italian residences with small hostels like this, very calm and safe also in the night, nearby great (and by great I mean foodgasmic) local restaurants and still you are circa 2 km from Vatican and nearby stops for all kind of public transports. First, we were kind of lost, standing at the corner nearby, because we couldn't find the entrance. The board with name of the guesthouse is just next to entrance, but it's small. But later we realized that's also an advantage. Because the guesthouse it's really small and hidden, with capacity just for few rooms, you will appreciate the comfort, that this privacy brings you. It's also very calm, we were probably the most noisy residents around, but c'mon we were enjoying the italian vibe already. We felt like home, really. The place is inside the residential unit with private apartments around. When you'll first come in (sorry, when you'll find the entrance first, haha) you will feel totally like in the classic italian movie with the big entrance door, staircase and old lift (guys this piece it's already vintage you gonna love it). Very recommended! You gonna enjoy it here. ? Just the breakfast sortiment could be broader and also the size of breakfast could be bigger but you will forgive Italians everything.

The staff are very friendly, and helpful. The room was lovely, though we did book a superior room and it was pretty basic compared to the rest of the rooms. The breakfast, which is delivered to the room on a tray was nice and adequate, though some fruit and juice would have improved it so much. Our only issue was with the shower. Our room had very poor water pressure so the shower was very slow.. We were offered another room but as we were already unpacked and only staying a few days it didn't seem worth the hassle. Guys fix your water pressure! The guest house is perfectly situated for the Vatican but a about 25 mins walk to all the action of, say, the trevi fountain. It was very quiet at night which was a bonus after a long day sightseeing and walking. All in all a good stay.
