Excellent Location for our trip, which included a day at the Vatican and a day in the tourist area of Rome. Both areas are walkable for us, but we expect to walk 4-7 miles per day in a city like Rome. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Rooftop bar had no significant view and did not seem to be in service while we were there. (It was a little chilly for Rome, but would be comfortable for us.)

Reasonably solid hotel. Rooms ok, bed a little old but ok. Very good bar and restaurant area. Room service above average. Breakfast below average. Excellent location

I was not satisfied with my stay and how the hotel is organized. (1) Usually as a Titanium Member you are supposed to get - 20 % discount on food and beverages / this hotel refused it. (2) On top of that, furthermore: I did "Suite Night Awards" request, which has been rejected prior arrival. (3) Ate a hamburger at their restaurant, it was disgusting and it tastes better at McDonald's. (4) I checked out on the 21st February 2022 and until now I have not received my STAY POINTS / NIGHTS on my Marriott BonVoy Account 171418686. (5) In the gym, a key is required and a booking, no one told me about it. And although there is no one in the gym, they are still asking for it. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL - THEY WILL NOT CREDIT THE STAY POINTS / NIGHTS into your account, and their hamburgers taste like paper.

OK stay with some issues. Location of this hotel is good and within walking distance to the Vatican, Spanish Steps, and some great restaurants. It’s very clean as well, although the room was a little dated. Upon check in the room type that I reserved was not honored and I was placed in a smaller room. I reserved a slightly larger more upgraded room and was placed in a more out dated smaller room type. The room was also very warm to the point where sleeping was very difficult. We really did not get much sleep until the 3rd night when a fan was brought up. This did not cool the room but it did help with the air flow. The front desk stated that the air conditioning is controlled centrally and that it was not on during our stay. This is a real problem for people who are sensitive to temperatures and need cool air flow to sleep. The entire stay would have been so much better had the AC been on or able to be controlled in each room individually. The hotel did their best to accommodate us but just beware about the air conditioning situation of this property!

For the price and location close to the Vatican you cannot beat it. Rooms are clean and nice. Friendly helpful staff. They helped us with every little whim. Great breakfast spread. Thanks especially to Sara and Miete. Our last night, they upgraded our room to a suite for free. They were wonderful. We will be coming back to this hotel many times again to visit Rome.

Very disappointed in Le Meridien! We started our stay satisfied, the front desk was accommodating and helpful, feeling that our needs were met....until we were trying to shower at night. Housekeeping not well-trained. Soap was not replaced. It took them 40 minutes to get soap and it could have been longer if we did not call the front desk twice and physically go down twice to ask and remind them. We were very tired from the day and just wanted to quickly shower and go to bed but were not able to do so because of having to wait for soap. Also, beginning day 2 of our stay there, every morning around 7:30AM, we would be woken up by very loud noises as if someone was moving furniture right above us. It would go on for around 1 hour. This continued throughout our entire stay here, as a result, it did affect our daytime activities, feeling unrested. When we relayed our concerns to the front twice, all they said was that they would relay the message to higher management and we should expect them to reach out to us. Well, it has been almost 2 weeks and we heard from no one!! Conclusion: We will never stay here again, we also will NOT recommend others stay here.

Great Location, Amazing staff. If you want to spend worthy time in Rome this hotel should be your first option to stay. You would be walking distance to the most of the iconic spots of Rome and the staff will help you with all the local wisdom to enjoy the city as a real Roman

We were upgraded to a terrace suite due to our platinum status. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. The bathroom was huge. The location is perfect. Near the Vatican and St. Peters' Square, but away from the busy roads and loud noises. We loved chatting with the bartenders and the front desk staff was helpful with directions and printing out our train tickets. Definitely a nice place to stay while in Rome!
