Residenza Roma

My and my wife stayed here for 5 days at the start of February. It's in great location, everything famous within reasonable walking distance. The double room was very big with very nice on suite.

The staff were very helpful and the room was exactly what we needed for our short stay in Rome. Great air con, comfy bed and decent bathroom.

Unable to have my stay here in August due to the pandemic and my flights having been cancelled! Hotel will not consider giving me a refund and are refusing to even let me change the dates of my stay!! Tried to reason with them and they are ignoring my messages!! Totally unprofessional! I’m disgusted!!

Horrible. Wrote them weeks before our stay to get clarification on fed ex delivery. Am glad I did it by email because he did as he asked AND THE important document was turned away by the door man anyway. When we asked Gian Loco what the problem was, he blamed us for not reminding him 2 more times than we had besides the email. In effect we felt compelled to stay there another night just to receive our document. Horrible attitude, the whole time.blamed us more. When one of out party was sick and needed to go to hospital the last day, he ws most rude. Knocking on the door demanding payment before 10 o'clock check out.when we reminded him he had the credit card numbers, he threw a fit and called the carabinari across the street,to come bully us, make DEROGOTORY REMARKS REGARDING OUR SEXUAL ORIENTATION , Disabilities, and recent illnesses. We were forced to turn over private medical documents and accused of not paying. NEVER STAY HERE. THE PLACE IS IN THE DIRTIEST PART OF ROME THAT SMELLS OF HUMAN FECES. WE ARE currently working With an Italian attorney to denounce this guy and his bullies with badges. Many of our personal items were missing from their baggage watch, and unopened food from our room disappeared .the room was not cleaned, or given more clean towels or more tiny bars of soap until the 2nd day. There I'd never anyone at the desk. And no security cameras. Would give 0 stars if I could. Stayed here years ago, it was 100x better, ni e customer service, without acting like you are bothering them , or whining about their work load.also saw rat droppings around the halls, and bathroom

Great budget guest house, close to many of Rome's highlights. Friendly host who had a lot of recommendations for dinner. Contact with the host could have been more organized

Giovanni was super friendly and helpful. He showed us so many great tips and recommendations for our stay. The room itself was clean and updated but located in a historical building -- best of both worlds. Breakfast was a simple croissant and cappuccino at a nearby cafe, which was delicious but don't expect a full breakfast. Excellent WiFi in the room. Highly recommended.

This place was wonderful. My wife and I stayed here with our two little daughters in the incredibly hot month of July. The Residenza Roma staff were so nice. The room was clean and in a great location. We had forgotten to print our airplane tickets for our departure flight. The staff made to sure to print these for us and slip them under our door so we had them for our early am flight. I wholeheartedly endorse this place, felt like an italian oasis.

Great value for money. The room was clean, it had coffee and tea. The floor in the bathroom was warm which is amazing during the winter. The staff was very nice, Giovanni waited for us when we checked in late at night. The location was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and it was pretty quiet at night. Overall a great experience and we'll definitely be back next time we're in Rome. Note that the lift is old and small so it can only fit two people with a small suitcase.
