We just came there and asked for bikes. Fantastic and very friendly service with good tips and recommendations. We had two city/ road bikes in very good conditions. They have also great race bikes. Highly recommended! Tips: Plan a stop at the cantalici vinery, visit the castello di brolio and check the white roads cycling store next door. Also, only full day rental so make the best out of your day in this lovely landscape.

Highlight of our stay in Tuscany! We had a blast on our e-bike tour of the Tuscany region - can't recommend it enough! We were on our honeymoon and hadn't had time to do a ton of planning for this part of our trip in advance - on a last minute whim we messaged Tuscany Bicycle to see if there was a chance they could squeeze us in the next day. Within a half hour we heard back from Elizabeth, who was more than accommodating! The tour was the perfect way to see the region, sample wines (Elizabeth is a trained sommelier as well!!), and learn a bit of history! We were there in the fall and the weather was perfect and the streets weren't crowded. Elizabeth even took us out the next day for a lesson at a local spot we didn't get to on the tour. If you're in Tuscany - make this a priority you won't regret it and bring your camera!

My wife and I booked the "Chianti Villages Road Cycling Tour" for one day of our trip to Chianti. Even though we don't speak italian we found communication with Tuscany Bicycle ahead of time to be very easy. After a few emails back and forth all in english our reservation was set up! We arrived to start the tour and the staff at Tuscany Bicycle had our bikes ready to go. We had an experienced guide take us around on awesome road bikes. It was a group tour that was booked but it was a Sunday so we were the only 2 people registered for the tour that day. We loved the individual attention that we ended up getting! The bikes were better quality bikes than what we ride around at home too. The scenery was beautiful and the ride was exactly as described. We spent 70 km riding through the Tuscan countryside and visiting various small towns and 1 winery at the end. Half way through the ride we stopped in a nice town for pizza and gelato. The guide did a good job of tailoring the ride to our desires and giving us a tour of the local area. One word of caution: when they say hilly in the description of the 50km - 70 km bike ride option, they mean really hilly! We live in the Rocky Mountains of the United States and didn't really give this descriptive word much thought when picking out the ride. We were challenged over the course of the 70 km ride though. We loved the bike ride. If I were to do it again I would book the shorter bike ride that had more wine tastings involved though. That is nothing against Tuscany Bicycle. They gave me exactly the ride they advertised. I just over-estimated my own abilities on the bike. Overall we had a great experience and would certainly book another tour with them during our next trip to Tuscany.

I had an excellent experience with Tuscany Bicycle having rented an electric bike for 10 days in June. The bike was in excellent condition and proved to be the perfect companion for the Tuscan hill country. They arranged a drop off and pick up in the beginning and end for a nominal fee, which made everything very convenient. I also rented panniers and left my bag in their shop, and this left me completely free to explore the area at my leisure. Originally this trip was planned a year ago, and consequently I had a few false starts before I could get there with the travel restrictions. Elizabeth was a true professional and so kind to work with through it all, the type of person you would want as a friend. I wholeheartedly recommend Tuscany Bicycle and a cycling vacation in the Tuscan region.

Fantastic personalized experience from Elizabeth and her crew. High end Pinarello road bikes available so you can leave your bike at home. Quality helmets included in price to make your packing even easier! Delivered bikes to our hotel in Montalcino which is about an hour from the shop. But best part of service was that they came all the way back the next day, at short notice, to exchange a bike (my fault, not theirs). EXCELLENT!

We loved our e-bike tour of Tuscany with Elizabeth in August 2021. Our family of four (all adults) spent the day roaming the hills and stopping to taste a few wines along the way. Elizabeth was a great guide of the roads as well as the wines. Our complete trip through Italy took us all over the north, but the Tuscan hills can't be beat and there's no better way to see it than on a bike with the sun on your face. It really was a splendid experience and probably my kids' (who are 19 and 21) favorite activity of the trip.

We had a great 4 days cycling with bikes from the folks at Tuscany Bicycle. Top quality service and top quality bikes, they swapped out one of our bikes for another after a mechanical issue, and were able to let us swap our gravel bikes for roadies for a last day of something different. Great service at the shop and at the hire centre, thanks for everything!
