However, there is very little to do to pass the time while you wait for your flight.. there is a small shop and a cafe..
Stayed in worse airports, this was fine.

β β β β β Staff check EU covid pass without code reader! Only on paper or in pdf!
This is unacceptable for an international airport! The security guard is unprofessional. She does not have a code reader and does not know EU applications for Spain. She was warned by her colleague. Then she was rude.
The VIP lounge is also closed at the airport! The airport is more analog yet, digital for them is a long way off!

β β β β β Considering that the airport is a bit far from Trieste, could it be possible to have some more traffic signs on the highway so that you know that you are on the right track before seeing the control tower?
Parking space are great, and the airport is well attended

β β β β β Trieste airport located 30 min away from the city of Trieste. The airport is small and very convenient. Few years ago it was renovated and additional parking places were constructed. The staff is friendly and helpful. The toilets are clean and big. There are enough places to seat. Waiting time for security check is short.
