★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called to them with the internet booking queries issue and the lady over the phone , Ilenia if I not wrong , have a best customer service ever I had in my life . She tries her best answering all my questions and making me feel confortable. So much better than the Avis lady , which has not any interest helping you and is hang off the phone twice . Just the reason i moved my booking from them to Europcar . I don't mind to pay , when the customer service is good .
Last yet I did my booking with AVIS in Trieste airport and I have such a bad experience with the same rude lady . They charge me an extra £38 because the petrol when i make it full 3 minutes away from the airport . Don't understand how this people can last working in customer services .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worse car hire ever! Our 9 seater van broke down in Trieste very late in the evening and the useless Daniel didn’t want to bring us the replacement to us while we were stuck in Trieste without car.
We had to get a taxi at 11pm to go to the airport which is 45 mins drive on the motorway to get the new van.
The incompetency of Daniel ruined our holiday and our plans for the next days.
A completely unprofessional and unreliable service, Avoid avoid avoid!!

The car was very dirty and we could see splutter on the steering wheel...thanks Europcar for this lack of hygiene during the Covid.
Also the car wasn't driving straight ... we had to blow up the tyre, very unsafe.
To avoid absolutely.
