Ci rechiamo in 9, puntuali, alle ore 16.30 alla fermata per l'acquisto dei biglietti, bimba compresa, e con nostro immenso stupore leggiamo un biglietto scritto a mano ed attaccato in biglietteria che l'ultima corsa per quel giorno, 29 agosto, era alle ore 16. Bimba inconsolabile piangente per tutto il pomeriggio perché era partita DA FUORI PROVINCIA appositamente per fare quel giorno il giro in trenino. Cosa aggiungere? Voglio riprovarci.

We go in 9, on time, at 16.30 to the stop for the purchase of tickets, including the child, and to our immense amazement we read a handwritten ticket attached to the ticket office that the last ride for that day, 29 August, was at 16. Inconsolable child crying all afternoon because she left OUT OF THE PROVINCE specifically to do the train ride that day. What to add? I want to try again.
