★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incrocio tra il cardo ed il decumano, una volta era il punto di incontro degli aquilani. Nei paraggi c'era tutta la vita sociale della città, la Sede Municipale, i Licei, il Teatro, i grandi Uffici pubblici, negozi eleganti, la basilica di S. Bernardino, il Convitto Nazionale che mi vide studente di scuola media. Non vedo l'ora che i Quattro Cantoni tornino ad essere il cuore pulsante della Città.
 Cross between the thistle and the decumanus, it was once the meeting point of the Aquilans. Nearby there was the whole social life of the city, the Town Hall, the high schools, the theater, the large public offices, elegant shops, the basilica of S. Bernardino, the National Boarding School which saw me as a middle school student. I can't wait for the Four Cantons to become the heart of the city again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meravigliosamente bella e pulita. Vissuta educatamente dagli Acquilani, sia di giorno che di sera. Meravigliosa sorpresa visitare questo stupendo centro della città.
Wonderfully clean and beautiful. Lived politely by the Acquilani, both day and night. Wonderful surprise to visit this beautiful city center.
