β β β β β This castle came from Spanish medieval times before the earthquake in 2009 it was National Museum of Abruzzo but now inside is restoration...

β β β β β we were able to see the great mammuthus skeleton too..and what a wonderful fortress! lets hope they finish the restoration works for that nice place and the city center soon ;) "travel abruzzo" advice me if there are any news about that!
