Simple menu choice and quite simple food. Price tag very reasonable - 9eur for a dish, water, wine and side dish and 12 eur for two dishes, water, wine, and side dish.
We were helped to put our baby stroller and bags in the other room. Place is full with people, always as we noticed. Staff was super busy but we found answers to our questions and were nicely served. We like pasta, however pork was not juicy enough. All in all I can recommend the place for budget eating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was knowledgeable and attentive. We had the set menu option (Bistecca alla Fiorentina) for two (minimum) of bread, antipasto then a 900gm steak accompanied with roast potatoes & garden salad. We chose a 390ml bottle of Chianti which suited it perfectly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wasn’t impressed. I was rather insulted. I got the tagliatelle with wild boar sauce, and not only was it tepid, but I had one bite of pasta that was actually cold. That’s so offensive to me and I can’t even be bothered to go into all the reasons why... from there on I was already so disappointed that the rest of the meal really didn’t stand a chance... even though I can say that it was fine, average. There are so many other places nearby where you can get much higher quality food for the same, or even lower, price. It’s small and cute inside but not much character to speak of from the service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good overall, very good value for money. 15 Euro for 2 dishes, bread, sides, and wine is great for the area. For the first course I had the spicy tomato pasta, which was lovely. For the second course I had the beef stew, which was also good, a bit fatty but otherwise tasty. Traditional food that will remind you of your moms cooking. Attentive service as well.
