★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent experience eating here today. The food was oh so good, beyond expectations. I went in with my American ideas of what I wanted from Italian food and was humbled by an authentic experience and fantastic flavor. Very affordable prices, especially compared to a lot of other restaurants in the area near the Vatican. They place their menu and daily specials on a chalk board outside- a good sign, so I’m told. It seemed as though it was a popular spot for locals as well, we appeared to be the only tourists at lunchtime. I would recommend eating here for anyone who wants traditional, Roman cuisine!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An average budget restaurant, nothing special. Prices are reasonable and the food it not bad. The menu is a large board that they keep moving from table to table, so you can’t have a good read at it, without being pressured by the waitress, who waits there till you are done, so that she can take it away to the next table. Very annoying, I don’t like to be pressured when ordering food.
The tiramisu’, served in a cappuccino cup, was disgusting: it was a cup of cheese, with a tiny bit of cake base a the bottom and not much else. Possibly the worst tiramisu’ I’ve ever tasted.
