Best Italian restaurant in Italia

R	Rebecca Shanahan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were scammed at this place today. We were just looking for a quick bite before our Vatican tour. They said they didn’t open for twenty minutes, but they said we could sit outside and have a drink and snack. We started to walk off then he told us to wait and motioned for us to go inside. They asked us if we wanted antipasti, while waiting for the kitchen to open. We said no. Then he said he was bringing us meat and cheese. Then another guy said he would bring us vegetables. We specifically said we didn’t want antipasti, but since they brought it anyways, we thought they were just being hospitable, since this is not unheard of in Italy, and we’ve lived in Italy for awhile and traveled from north to south. Then they brought the bill, and we were charged full price for every little detail of everything they brought, that we didn’t order. Then the guy had the nerve to make a joke about leaving a tip. Just so ya know guy, we live here, you’re not getting a tip. This is Italy. Our bill came to 85 euro, and all we really asked for were three pizzas, and a bottle of water. The food was good. They were very friendly, but now I just feel like they were being friendly to get our money. How sad.
p	pedro diogo vaz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best restaurant we had in Rome. The greatest meat, nice ambiance, either inside and outside. Very nice decoration. Close to Vatican City, but not on main streets (so... the best option) and... at an affordable price. Strongly recommend.
L	Leonard Lay on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was very good. The reason for the low review was the shady tactics that they used to more than double our bill. Here's the story: We were walking by around 11:40 am and one of the waiters was outside. We asked if they were open, he said not for 20 minutes but he asked if we wanted antipasto? We said no thanks and we were about to walk away when he told us we could come in and wait. Then the next waiter asked again if we wanted antipasto. We said no. He brought out bread, cheese, vegetables, beans, meat, and spinach. We thought they were being hospitable and then we ordered 3 pizzas. After the meal they brought the check and they charged us for every individual item on the menu. It nearly tripled the bill from just the pizza. We paid the bill since we did eat the food but we weren't happy because we specifically said we didn't want the antipasto and instead they brought us 6 expensive ones. Not cool y'all!

J	Jamie Murillas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant was very nice and inviting. They seated us right away. I believe the owner served us. He took our drinks quickly and later our order. I ordered the kind of spagetti with boar, the fried artichoke, and Macedonia with icecream everything was very delicious. The waiter was attentive and brought everything over all timely. In Italy restaurants give you time to eat, when you are ready you should ask for the check or "I'l conto." You do not need to tip unless you recieved great service. This restaurants was my overall favorite in Rome.
