I was shocked how bad this place was. Because I was referred by a friend to come here. First, there was nobody inside, which was a bad sign. We ordered wine and appetizers which was brought swiftly. I wanted to order some extra drinks, and when I motioned to the waiter he gave me the "shhh" sign with one finger an did not come back. Afterwards he recommended some food which taste like poor man's food "veal tail" but not listed as such. The meat my partner ate was almost cold and dripping blood so we sent it back for more cooking. Came back just as bloody raw. I can not recommend this place to anyone.

We loved this ristorante on our visit to Rome. The amatriciana was so good. Loved that it was served out of a cheese wheel. We also had Abbachio al forno and bistecca di manzo Danese that were great. We made sure to come twice because we felt the food was so much better than other places we were trying.

Do not miss this gem less than a block from Ottaviano station. Alberto was extremely welcoming and great to our family. Our first meal here was so good, we returned for our last vacation dinner to ensure a fond final memory of our week in Rome.

Lovely little hole in the wall that’s actually more of a β€œhole down a set of stairs”. Went here on a whim after finishing a tour at the Vatican and actually got there early. Despite being early, the staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. The food was nothing short of incredible. Our pasta was brought to the table in two cheese wheels. Yes, legitimate cheese wheels. There were plenty of options and a great selection of wines too. As more guests came in, we noticed they all seemed to be locals (because everyone was speaking Italian), which is always a good sign. The prices were unbelievably reasonable for the service and the food. I would most definitely go back to this restaurant, if for no other reason than the novelty of being served delicious, freshly-made pasta from a 20kg wheel of cheese.

Are you kidding me? Hands down the best meal of our trip. The fried artichoke was divine and the lamb was the best -prepared I have ever experienced. And the, tiramisu prepared table-side. Heaven!

Avoid if you can! Nice and particular way of serving, but that is it. For Rome, the dishes were just fine, nothing special in terms of cuisine, and you can have tastier experience almost everywhere around the area. The service was really bad. Not only bordering on being rude, but mostly not existent. Ordered same dish 3 times and came after 50 minutes (it was just plain pasta for our little girl who didn't stop saying she was hungry). Waiters passing by when they had time...and had to get up several times to add an order or remind them for the missing ones. Really...you can find better. Spare yourself this sort of experience.

Great food and reasonably priced. Also if you order amatriciana or caccio e peppe pasta, they serve it out of a parmesan wheel which is fun! We ordered the Carbonara which was great
