★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite place in Lucca! Plates with good portions, honest price, good wine, great service. A real classical Italian trattoria. I hate here both lunch and dinner, a pity I did not discover this place earlier.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve been here for lunch and came back a few days later for dinner. We were very happy with both meals and with the service we received. Our waitresses both spoke very limited English but still were able to make recommendations and understand us. The food is very flavorful. Don’t skip dessert, the creme brûlée is as good as it gets, and the sweet vegetable pie it to die for. We only have 8 more days in Lucca, but I feel we will be back again before we leave!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best restaurant finds in Lucca. Excellent food and service with great prices. I had the brick chicken, vegetable soup, glass of wine, water and a side of potatoes for 30 Euro. The food was great! Coming back often.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We made reservations for dinner mid week. The place felt like a local spot. The outside dining wasn’t open which looks really cool but it was 50 degrees outside so I doubt anyone would want to. The pasta was the best I have tasted so far in Italy. The portions were generous and I would definitely go back again.
This is a place we’re the presentation might not be perfect but the taste is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restaurant is located in a beautiful location. Great spot for a dinner with friends or your loved one. Their Trippa was one of the best I had in Italy. Porch Etta was a bit heavy, but still good. Desserts were also super tasty, especially panna cotta. They offer good wine selection. It is quite busy spot and one evening we didnt get a table without booking, thus it is better to pre-book your visit at da Giulio’s.
