I have to say this was probably my favorite experience of our entire trip to Tuscany. Paola is an amazing teacher and we had so much fun. We laughed, we learned, we bonded over wine and none of us wanted this experience to end. Then we shared our meal with Paola and Simonetti in their kitchen. We did not want the day to end. This really is a must do on any itinerary in Tuscany. And the bonus is we have the recipes and I can hardly wait to try to replicate them at home. Great job ladies- I’ll be talking about this for years to come!

I, along with my Partner and a girlfriend spent 3 days in October 2016 at the cooking school in Poggio S. Polo and had a wonderful time, cooking and learning as we go and then sitting down to eat for lunch what we had prepared. Being asked before what we wish to see and make is great. It was great catching up with Paola and Simonetta again, having first done a residential stay and cooking class with them in 2004. We are all intending to return to the area in 2018 and do more cooking classes as they are brilliant. Highly recommend this.

Had a great experience learning how to make pasta with my son. It was is gift for Mother's Day. We had a lot of fun and learnt so much! Wonderful hosts - cannot wait to do another class!

Fun cooking class. Paola was very entertaining and gave us many cooking tips and kindly answered all our detailed cooking questions. Wonderfully lovely house, nice kitchen, lovely dining room. It was one of the beat experiences on our Italy trip.

What a great experience for our family, the boys really enjoyed doing some traditional Italian cooking especially making fresh pasta. We did our class with another family, didn’t know they were going to be there but was great to have them and enjoy the meal together afterwards with the sisters and their family. Highly recommend for a unique experience and embracing the Tuscan lifestyle of food, wine and family.

Amazing Experience! My husband and I took this class 2 weeks ago while on our first trip to Italy. It was the highlight of our vacation! Such a wonderful day spent with Paola and Simonetta cooking, laughing, having wonderful conversations and drinking Chianti! Thoroughly enjoyed meeting and getting to know the other people who took the class with us. We learned how to make gnocchi, with 2 different sauces, roasted turkey breast and sausage, zucchini trifolati, and a delicious dessert of Panna Cotta. Would highly recommend this class for anyone traveling to the Tuscany region!

Our family spent an evening with Simonetta and Paola in August 2021 learning to make pasta, traditional pesto sauce, lemon chicken and panna cotta. We really enjoyed spending time with these genuine women and learning from them in their home. We all agreed that we want to join one of their virtual classes when we are home to learn something else. Our "kids" who are 19 and 21 will be able to impress their college friends back home with their new skills. Thank you Simonetta and Paola. Arrivederci

This cooking class was one of the highlights of my visit to Italy. I would happily travel back to Chianti just to take the class again. My husband and I love cooking and we wanted to learn how to refine our pasta making skills, while also having an authentic experience in Tuscany. This class was just that. Toscana Mia is a charming cooking school run by two sisters, Simonetta and Paola, tucked away in the beautiful, rolling hills of Chianti. Simonetta and Paola are incredible hosts and great teachers - their warmth, organization & preparedness starts from the moment you book your class and continues until your adventure is complete. From the moment we arrived at their gorgeous Tuscan home, we were greeted as if we were visiting old friends. We are vegetarian, and Simonetta & Paola accommodate us graciously. We made spinach & ricotta raviolis, a 5 tomato pasta sauce, stuffed bell peppers, olive oil cake, and had the traditional Chianti Classico. This was easily one of the best, most delicious meals I had on the entire trip. I am still dreaming about the olive oil cake. This was the first cooking class I have attended where I really learned how to prepare the dishes, and my husband and I already re-created the pasta a week later. The best part of this experience, however, was eating dinner at Simonetta and Paola’s dining table with the rest of the students. We laughed, chatted, and talked about all things Italian. It was so much fun. I cannot recommend this class more. It will be the highlight of your trip!
