★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely time with Mauro doing a pasta cooking class. We went as a family (5 adults and two 10 year old kids) and everyone had a blast. The atmosphere is relaxed yet we cooked many things and learned a lot. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took the pasta lunch class and absolutely loved it and Chef Mauro!! He made it super fun, and I have to admit that I was skeptical about doing this. I am FAR from being a good cook. But, my girlfriend is and wanted to do this while in Italy so for her birthday, I reserved a spot. Chef Mauro is an excellent teacher, had everyone participating in some way and had us all laughing from start to finish. The resulting lunch was fantastic and the experience very memorable! Thanks Chef Mauro!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a beautiful experience! Chef Mauro is talented, fun, friendly, helpful, and genuinely a great guy. We made a plethora of food (bread, pastas, sauces, pork, and dessert), but he guided us the whole way, making the entire experience a delight. Never stressful (the wine flowed freely), he really catered to each our needs and abilities, but made sure we were learning and having fun along the way. He was also able to bring the 3 different parties present (our family of 4, and 2 other pairs) from around the world into an unforgettable experience, sharing his unique perspective of Tuscan culture. Would definitely do this again, and highly recommend to anyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was such a fun experience. If you are looking for an authentic cooking class with a beautiful view and fabulous instructor, this is for you. Mauro is so much fun and provides a lot of knowledge about Italian cuisine. The passion for which the Italians cook their food and appreciate the land is inspiring. I am so excited to try all of these recipes when I go home. Our kitchen has now been forever changed.

He is absolutely a fantastic host! And we were entertained from the beginning!
We learned to make all different kinds of pasta and ravioli, ragu, bread, tiramisu and a sage sauce for the ravioli ???
It was delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anyone visiting Tuscany needs to visit Mauro and enjoy the Montese Cooking Experience. My wife and I had a fantastic time learning from Mauro on how to make bread, pasta, sauce and Tiramisu. He creates a phenomenal learning experience in an outdoor setting - coaching you from start to finish throughout the cooking process, always keeping it fun, lighthearted and thoroughly enjoyable. There are, however, two rules to follow during your time there: to relax and to never let your glass be empty!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I spent 3 nights in San Gimignano as part of our honeymoon and we wanted to do a cooking class while we were in Italy. This class exceeded all expectations possible. Mauro is such a genuine, happy and caring person. His two rules: never have a empty glass and relax. His sous chef, Margherita, was also very helpful! We were there with 2 other couples and he was able to intermix the groups effortlessly so we could get to know each other! I loved that we were outside the whole time and were able to soak in the gorgeous Tuscan sun and backdrop the whole afternoon. The bread was amazing, the ragú was delicious, the ravioli was comforting, the tiramisu was incredible, the vino was perfetto and the company was the best part! I almost didn’t want to leave when it was over. If you’re reading this, you should definitely book this class ASAP!
