★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was by far one of the best experiences on our visit through Tuscany! Nonna and her entire staff could not have been more welcoming or warm!
From the moment I reached out to them via email, I got an immediate response with lots of details!
We had a driver that dropped at the beautiful property that Nonna lives on, a working farmhouse with a restaurant. The most adorable little villa with gorgeous green fields...give yourself extra time so you can walk through the woods.
The class itself was a little larger that I expected but we loved all of our classmates and had such a great time getting to know eachother.
I'm a fairly experienced cook and baker but I learned a lot of things from Nonna that I didn't know.
The dessert chef Valeria taught us how to make Tiramisu and then we moved on to the homemade Pasta and chicken dish!
The ladies are extremely friendly and professional and have everything very well orchestrated to accommodate teaching a large group. There was lots of hands on, especially during the past making, but honestly the fun of it is really the experience of working together!
Once we finished our tasks, Nonna and her staff take over and finish lunch while we all got to drink fabulous wine that they make there and get to relax.
Then we all moved back into to the kitchen and enjoyed all the food we made together!
The pasta we made was probably some of the best I've ever had in my life! I'm still dreaming about it!
Nonna Ciana herself is a wonderfully kind and warm lady! Although she didn't speak any English, I felt like I could understand everything she was saying just from how expressive she was. She reminded me so much of my own mother!
This as one of my favorite days in Tuscany, I would highly recommend this to anyone, even if you don't cook.
Truly an experience not to be missed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have experienced Nonna Ciana cooking class myself and I will strongly suggest it to my students and trainees as an authentic tuscan coiking activity to perform during their staying in Siena. The farmhouse where Nonna Ciana and her family live is simply astonishing and right by one of the most important hystorical sites amongst the Unesco sites of Siena area, Montaperti which is just few meters far from where the cooking class is held. Montaperti is mentioned also in Dante's Comedia and a visit there will teach you more history than what you would read in a book :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My sister, my niece, and myself had an amazing time learning authentic Italian fare!! Nonna and her staff of 2 other amazing ladies were so much fun and so gracious to all who attended the class with us.
They were knowledgeable and so much fun!! NONNA has such a cute way of teaching her culinary skills to novice Italian cooks. They all had a great sense of humor which helped to relax you.
But the best part was sharing our meal all together....it was just like being with family after 3 hours of preparing the food......we couldn't believe we actually made Pasta!!
