Incastonata tutta intorno nel verde, da una pineta,rimane un punto di riferimento per turisti e visitatori occasionali. La torre é facilmente raggiungibile da Santa Caterina ed è un ottimo punto di inizio di un'escursione che immerge completamente nel misterioso silenzio della natura, appunto selvaggia. Digradando verso la costa, peraltro bassa e accessibile, si possono fare delle tappe di riposo agevolato da panche e tavolacci in legno. É evidente che è possibile immergersi in un mare assolutamente incontaminato. Nella pineta, sufficientemente pulita ma sta a noi tutti mantenerla tale, ci sono servizi igienici mobili e un efficiente servizio di pronto soccorso mobile. Insomma ci sono tutti gli elementi giusti per trascorrere una giornata nella natura, nel rispetto della stessa natura che è bene far conoscere ai nostri figli e nipoti ed educarli da subito a goderne le bellezze e a rispettarla. p	pa bu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho notato che chiedendo informazioni di Torre Santa Caterina spesso si fa riferimento a Torre dell'Alto, poi ho capito che la confusione nasce dal fatto che Torre dell'Alto si trova nella bellissima frazione di Santa Caterina, mentre Torre Santa Caterina si trova in via Torre Santa Caterina vicinissima alla spiaggetta omonima. Torre dell'Alto è sicuramente una delle torri più scenografiche della zona, Torre Santa Caterina resta più in disparte rispetto alla costa, è circondata da pini e rocce richiama alla mente il fascino di tempi lontani. Oggi è proprietà privata e non è visitabile ci sono delle recinzione e per quel poco che ho visto da lontano, sembra che i proprietari stiano facendo opere di restauro.
