L	Lilly Astore on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posta a 71 m s.l.m., venne edificata nel 1565 con funzioni difensive su progetto del viceré Don Pietro da Toledo che redasse un sistema di controllo delle coste. La costruzione presenta un basamento tronco-conico e un corpo superiore a pianta cilindrica separato dalla base da un cordolo. Intorno si innalza una scalinata che conduce alla porta del piano superiore. L'interno ospita due ambienti a pianta esagonale, sovrapposti e comunicanti attraverso una scala ricavata nel muro. Comunicava a nord con Torre del Fiume di Galatena, oggi nel comune di Nardò, e a sud con Torre Sabea. Rinvenimenti di manufatti in selce, ceramiche e ossidiane testimoniano la frequentazione del sito sin dal Neolitico. Located at 71 m a.s.l., it was built in 1565 with defensive functions on a project by the viceroy Don Pietro da Toledo who drafted a coastal control system. The construction has a truncated conical base and an upper body with a cylindrical plan separated from the base by a curb. Around it rises a staircase that leads to the door of the upper floor. The interior houses two rooms with a hexagonal plan, superimposed and communicating through a staircase carved into the wall. It communicated to the north with Torre del Fiume di Galatena, today in the municipality of Nardò, and to the south with Torre Sabea. Finds of artifacts in flint, ceramics and obsidians testify to the frequentation of the site since the Neolithic.

Comunque anche se non si accede il panorama della costa alla sua sx puo essere osservato dall adiacente Belvedere San Mauro. Come si evince dalle foto la vista e strepitosa, va dalla montagna spaccata fino a Gallipoli. Dalla torre si sarebbe visto anche il lato verso sx Santa Caterina che purtroppo e inibito per mancato accesso.
