★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dopo essere venuto a Matera per una piccola vacanza con la mia famiglia sono rimasto colpito, oltre che dalle bellezze della città, dalla gentilezza della signora Angela, che ci ha brillantemente spiegato gli interessanti meccanismi di raccolta e distribuzione delle acque materane oltre a fornirci un'esaustiva guida per gli altri itinerari turistici da percorrere in città. Luogo forse non sempre famosissimo per chi si reca da turista a Matera ma a mio giudizio interessantissimo e pienamente degno di una visita. Ottima anche l'abilità del personale di padroneggiare lingue straniere. Voto 5 stelle!
 After coming to Matera for a small vacation with my family, I was struck not only by the beauty of the city, but also by the kindness of Mrs. Angela, who brilliantly explained to us the interesting mechanisms for collecting and distributing Matera waters as well as providing us with a exhaustive guide for the other tourist itineraries to be traveled in the city. A place perhaps not always very famous for those who go to Matera as a tourist but in my opinion very interesting and fully worthy of a visit. The staff's ability to master foreign languages is also excellent. 5 star rating!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visitato l’antico palombaro del Sasso Caveoso, un sistema antico di canalizzazione delle acque piovane, merita davvero, poi la gentilissima guida Angela ci ha trasportato indietro nel tempo emozionandoci nei racconti di quel tempo, davvero ci ho lasciato il cuore! La Matera autentica e qui!!!
Visited the ancient diver of Sasso Caveoso, an ancient system of rainwater channeling, it really deserves, then the very kind guide Angela transported us back in time by moving us in the stories of that time, I really left my heart! Authentic Matera is here !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Altro sistema di cisterne, con la differenza, rispetto al palombaro lungo, che qui le spiegazioni sono molto ben fatte (viene consegnato un foglio esplicativo all'ingresso) e il personale ha cura di spiegare cosa fa di Matera un luogo patrimonio dell'umanità (per inciso, non sono i sassi ma proprio il suo sistema di raccolta delle acque). Merita una visita.
Another system of tanks, with the difference, compared to the long diver, that here the explanations are very well done (an explanatory sheet is given at the entrance) and the staff takes care to explain what makes Matera a world heritage site ( incidentally, it is not the stones but its own water collection system). Worth a visit.
