★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di Santa Chiara costruita negli anni 1668 - 1672. La facciata è ricca di elementi con un portale raffinatamente abbellito, al di sopra del quale è riportato lo stemma del vescovo Antonio Del Ryos Culminarez, colui che ha voluto realizzare la chiesa in quel quartiere. Nella nicchia che sovrasta il portale si può ammirare una statua della Madonna del Carmine mentre a destra c'è una statua di Santa Chiara e a sinistra una statua di San Francesco.
The church of Santa Chiara built in the years 1668 - 1672. The facade is rich in elements with a finely embellished portal, above which the coat of arms of the bishop Antonio Del Ryos Culminarez, who wanted to build the church in that neighborhood . In the niche above the portal you can admire a statue of the Madonna del Carmine while on the right there is a statue of Santa Chiara and on the left a statue of San Francesco.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fermata obbligatoria visitando la bellissima Matera. Situata nei sassi, ha una facciata barocca molto lineare e pulita. Gli interni sono altrettanto lineari con una navata centrale imponente. Stupenda perché ad ogni angolo nasconde piccoli tesori e capolavori.
Compulsory stop visiting the beautiful Matera. Located in the stones, it has a very linear and clean Baroque facade. The interiors are equally linear with an imposing central nave. Superb because at every corner it hides small treasures and masterpieces.
